In English we will be:

  • Narrative writing
  • Narrative reading
  • Author studies and text
  • Argument writing
  • Short stories with flashbacks
  • Formal writing

 

In mathematics we will concentrate on:

 

  • Number: addition, subtraction, division and multiplication
  • Fractions, percentages and decimals
  • Time and measures
  • Problem solving

 

In Science we will be learning about:

  • Dissolving
  • Reversible and irreversible changes
  • Circuits
  • Forces
  • SAT's revision

 

In Art and/or Technology we will be:

  • Slipper making
  • Shelters
  • Van Gogh

 

In other subjects we will be learning about:

Victorian Britain

World Study

Easter/bible stories

Respect for property

 

You can help me by:

Supporting SAT's revision.  Some children will be invited to booster classes, for others revision may be via homework, study books or additional work.

 

Special days for my class are:

PE - Tuesdays and Fridays

Spellings  -  Fridays

Homework given on Wednesday for following Monday

Homework Club - Thursdays.

RJC Dance - January/February

SAT'S meeting - 15th January 6.30 - 7.00pm

Mrs Dodson leaves - 8th February.
