Welcome back and we hope you all had a good Easter break. We only have a short plan this month, but next month a lot of our time will be dedicated to making our scarecrow for the Annual Scarecrow Competition at Oxborough Hall at the end of May. (More details to follow) The theme is ‘sport through the ages’ and we are submitting a ‘rower’ complete with boat! (We like a challenge.)
Weather permitting the children will have the option of playing outside more, now that the evenings are getting lighter.
If you feel that your child would like to join us on some of our days, and they have not been before then, please feel free to book them a ‘taster session’. You can do this through the office and then I will check for space availability on that day.
Many thanks
Mrs Gant, Mrs Allan & Mrs Howley

If you have any jigsaws, Lego or toy cars that you no longer need then please would you think of us before you get rid of them. The children love playing with these.
We do have 2 more Bags2School collections this year, the first being Monday 16th July. So if you are having a clear out or just a change of wardrobe then please think of us before you bin you unwanted clothing, bedding, shoes, bags etc. More details will follow nearer the time.
I would just like to take this opportunity to thank all those parents, carers, grandparent’s etc who have already donated lots of unwanted items for the Bags2School scheme. Although school fully funds the Wallabies and Early Birds Clubs, it is always nice to have additional money to spend on those very welcome ‘extras’! Last year you helped raise over £500 from this scheme, which was a wonderful amount and the children have already benefited from lots of new things to play with. I know they appreciate your help as much as we do. So thank you from all of us.
Many thanks
Mrs Gant, Mrs Allan & Mrs Howley.

*Please note, if you wish to book a place at Wallabies, please do so through the school office, and not via Wallaby staff. We cannot always offer a place, and priority will be given to those on the Office list.
