Our experienced Staff, use a range of teaching methods and
resources to enable each child to reach their full potential.
Children starting
school at rising five enter the Foundation Stage of the
curriculum. This consists of six areas of learning, leading
to Early Learning Goals. These areas are:
- Knowledge and understanding
- Personal, social and emotional development
- Creative development
- Physical development
- Communication, language and literacy
- Mathematical development
It is important
that the Foundation Stage is seen as a discrete phase in
a child's development and not simply as preparation for
Key Stage 1.
