Parents who wish their child to be prepared for the first sacraments are invited to regular meetings with Fr. Maurice and Mrs Ford. The children are prepared by Catechists in school and at the 10.00am Sunday Mass in the Church Hall. All families are invited to regular school/parish masses.

There is a flourishing "Parents United" which is helping to unify the home and school life of the children. They have organised fund raising events which have provided items of equipment and improvements to the facilities of the school such as a safe outdoor play surface, carpeting for the Library, ICT equipment and playground markings. They also organise Social events e.g. Discos and Fashion Shows. All new parents are especially welcome at meetings.

We are also pleased when parents volunteer to work with children in school time. Presently parents assist with baking, small group activities, reading, sewing and library.

Our school council is delighted to be involved in a community project involving a local 'Junior Council'. This will consist of children from St Anthony's and other local schools who will meet regularly to discus way of improving Victoria Park. We will keep you informed as the project progresses.
